• Peter Ahn is the founding/lead pastor of Metro Community Church in Englewood, NJ. Metro Community Church began with just a humble vision of becoming a community that finds its commonality in weakness. Today, Metro has grown into a vibrant multi-ethnic church transforming its community and the world.

Peter is the President of Metro Community Center, which serves the Englewood people through community service and outreach.

In 2007, after visiting an orphanage in South Africa, Peter returned to the US with a renewed perspective of charity and community development. Shortly after, he founded Zimele USA, which supports programs that empower women and children with a focus on the Biblical principles of social justice, advocacy, and serving the least, the last and the lost. Peter currently serves as the President of Zimele USA where his commitment to the people of South Africa is evident to all who meet him.

Peter travels all over the world to continue his passion for empowering others to embrace their weaknesses. He currently resides in Northern New Jersey with his wife Jenny and three amazing kids: Christina, Kayla, and Christian.

  • Suah loves answering questions about herself, but the one question that always stumps her is when people ask her "where she's from." Having grown up across three different continents in the first 15 years of her life, she considers herself a true "third culture" kid.

After receiving her bachelor's degree at New York University and her master's degree at Columbia University, Suah worked as a Medical Social Worker at New York-Presbyterian for five years, working with heart failure and heart transplant patients. She then received a call from Pastor Peter asking her to join the staff at Metro Community Church as a full-time director of their Justice, Advocacy and Compassion ministry and immediately said "no." After much prayer, she then had a change of heart and went on to be a part of the Metro staff for five wonderful and memorable years.

After relocating to Columbus, OH for her husband's career, she is now a stay-at-home mom to her two spunky girls and her German Shepherd dog. In her free time, Suah loves to read, bake and eat the stuff she bakes.
